Inwe had the phone figured out around 15 months of age. She knew she was supposed to talk into it and wait for someone to talk back to her. She tried to have a conversation with my parents--mostly PopPop--even at that early age.
Larien, however, has always been more physical, better at drawing, putting things together, and knowing where items go. It's one of her strengths. Finally, she has figured out the purpose of the phone. She'll have a conversation with the person at the other end. For her, that person is usually Mom Mom. She connects better with her.
