Inwe and a Camera

Inwe asked T yesterday if she could take pictures with T's camera. T said no for two big reasons: 1) the camera was her great grandfather's and is not a toy for a 4 year old and 2) the pictures T takes are for her photography class at school. It took a while for Inwe to comprehend this, but she eventually did understand that the camera wasn't anything like mommy's digital camera where you can take pictures all day long until the memory card fills up. I also sweetened the deal by allowing Inwe to use a disposable camera that we were given at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in July. Here are some of the pictures.

This is Larien sitting with the purse she helped make. It is filled with Barbies.

Inwe says this one is her favorite--the picture of The White Dragon. Please try to not notice the toys in the sunroom behind her.

This picture of Molly is by far my favorite. You have to really look, but she's laying underneath the ornamental grass. My thought has always been that she thinks The White Dragon can't find her in here.

This is one of the two bluebird boxes in our yard. This one housed some tree swallows earlier this year although no little swallows ever emerged. The other box did house a pair of bluebirds and two nests of little ones.

So, the backlighting isn't great, but remember she is not quite four years of age. This is the hummingbird feeder which is part climbing apparatus for morning glories.

Inwe did take a picture of me, but I'm not posting it.
