Tonight I listened to Phill read a book to Inwe and Larien called Knuffle Bunny (by Mo Willems). It's a cute book that we have read to the girls many time. However, I got to witness Phill changing the words to the story and hear Inwe correct him. A couple of examples:
The real story is Trixie and her daddy going to the Laundromat, but Phill said library.
"No, Daddy, laundromat!"
The the Daddy takes her home, but Phill says Mommy.
"Daddy."
There's a line where Trixie goes "boneless". Phill says careless.
"Boneless"
This goes on through the whole book, and Inwe loves it. She giggles, rolls her eyes, and puts her hands on her hips.
