Today was gown day. That means that neither girl had to put on real clothes. Inwe asked me if this could be a gown day, and I replied, "Well, I was planning on going to the store to buy your daddy new pants." She thought a bit and said, "You can do that tomorrow when T is here, and I can stay home in my gown today and tomorrow!" How can one argue with logic like that? I can't and I didn't.So, here you see Larien in one of her 5 Care Bear gowns. This is the only gown she will wear to bed. She has two of sizes 2T and 3T one size 4T (that one she pilfered from Inwe's gown dwarer). She is also riding the rocking horse that Pop Pop painted for Inwe almost three years ago. It's been chewed upon by The White Dragon, has numerous stickers adhered to its surface, and is not the cleanest thing in the world. However, both girls still ride it, and every kid that visits crawls on it.
After tucking Larien in (well, actually intimidating her into laying down and attempting to sleep), I went to say goodnight to Inwe. I was so charmed by what I saw: Inwe attentively listening to Phill read with The White Dragon in the middle snuggled against Phill. The White Dragon moved a bit when I took the picture.Notice Inwe is in the Barbie as the Pauper dress again. I wash it every three days or so. Do you think it will last until Halloween? I certainly hope so or we'll have one upset eldest daughter.
