Bad Day?

“Please don’t ask me if I had a good day.”

That’s what Inwe said when I picked her up from school earlier today. Add that statement to her general bad mood, and I surmise she didn’t enjoy her day at school. A little lunch and some play time helped her mood before nap, but she still won’t tell me why her day at school wasn’t good. She did wear her flowered headband, and I wonder if one of the girls at school said something mean about it. Perhaps she’ll open up to Daddy later.  

Update: Phill drew it out of Inwe this evening. We now know why she was so grumpy. One of the teachers at her school was using a pitchfork to put mulch under one of the swing sets. Inwe either did not hear the warning to stay away or decided to ignore the warning. Therefore, she got admonished. That in itself was enough to put her in a bad mood.
