More on the Phonics

So Inwe and I are on lesson 38 out of 100 for her reading. She's really doing well. She still has some problems with concentration, but she is not quite four, so I try to ignore that part.

What made me laugh today was one of the words on the reading list: shack. We tackled the sh sound a few days ago and now she gets to read words like she and shot. However, seeing shack on the list just tickled me. For the rest of the lesson I couldn't get the song "LoveShack" by the B52's out of my head.

What was the story she read today? Here it goes:

See that little shack. Sand is in the shack. We will run in the sand.

She reads it twice, and then gets to look at a picture for some more reading comprehension.
