Here's the stats:
Weight: 12.3 kg or 27 pounds
Height: 34 3/4 inches
Both stats are average for two year old girls.
Okay, to explain the statement above. I recently read a book titled "Freakonomics" by Dubner and Levitt. In this book is a chapter that shows eight factors that are strongly correlated with test scores. Here are the eight:
- The child has highly educated parents.
- The child's parents have high socioeconomic status.
- The child's mother was thirty or older at the time of her first child's birth.
- The child had low birthweight. (this is associated with lower test scores)
- The child's parents speak English in the home.
- The child is adopted. (Again, lower test scores.)
- The child's parents are involved in the the PTA.
- The child has many books in her home.
Of the six factors that are correlated with higher test scores: my children have all.
I highly recommend this book. Click on the name of the book for a link with more information.
