I will be using either elf names for the children or aliases that I dreamed up for the adults. If my good friend Trixie (not her real name) can call me by my college nickname (just initials, but if you knew me then you know what it stands for) on her blog I can use made up names on mine. Right?
Inwe had two reactions. The first was a smile with her eyes. Talking was out of the questions as her mouth was stuffed full of cracker and easy cheese. Once that was swallowed, she said, "That's great, Mommy," while clapping her hands and bouncing on the stool.
Larien is too young to have a reaction. Phill said it all for her, "Now you can have someone to beat up on you." This is due to the very rough and tumble nature of our youngest daughter. I've finally gotten her to stop the head butting, but the tackling has been more difficult to curb.
Maverick was quite happy, although she had stated earlier that three nieces would be just fine with her. She was one of the ones bugging me about the name. Well, not bugging me, but I've had a long day and am a bit on the snitty side.
Pop Pop said something like "Good Job" and then proceeded to ask if we were done now. The answer is yes and no. Well, I don't know. I really like having my own kids. They are a lot of fun.
I have no idea what Mom Mom's reaction was as I tried to call her for three hours and got no answer at either a land line or cell phone of my aunt (where my mother was at the time). So, Dad got the honor of telling both my mom and my aunt. I am now afraid that my aunt will come here and snatch baby number three. I'm paraphrasing what she said to my mother, Pop Pop has Inwe; Larien is yours. This one will be mine!
My neighbor, Loquatia, came over to get the sonogram pictures for scanning and heard me talking to Mom Mom. I saw her arms shoot up in a victory "V". She recently delivered a boy, Cirdan II, so our children will be just 6 months apart. Her eldest, Idril, is only 3 months older than Larien. Our combined three girls spend a lot of time together in the evenings and weekends. It's really wonderful having neighbors that you really like with children the same age.
My favorite reaction is a negative reaction by Findarato, son of TWA Pilot and TopDirtyDog. Findarato loves Inwe, and thinks Larien is pretty cool as well. TWA Pilot and I bonded when our first pregnancies coincided. Her twins were born a bit over two weeks before Inwe. These three have spent lots of time together: just playing, sharing their first teacher together (just the three of them with the teacher's daughter), and their first formal preschool. I digress.
Findarato emphatically declared that I am to have "another Larien." "Or an Inwe." TWA Pilot and TopDirtyDog will have to work on him accepting this baby when they undertake biking down the C&O canal for their Memorial Day trip.
Add your reaction by leaving a comment. It can be anonymous or you can sign it. Just leave me some hint as to who you are. Heck, give yourself an alias for me to use.

WaWa and I are thrilled with this addition and hope that you have many more. This will help to address the balance of the world as it appears we are on the "never" track.
This means we just get to spoil YOUR KIDS !
