about Inwe playing with one of our neighbor’s sons. The youngest, Lenwe (about six years old), decided to come over and play with Ursa while we were out in the yard. All three of these boys love to come play with the dogs, feed the fish, or just talk to us.
After throwing the ball for Ursa so many times that she refused to chase it anymore, Lenwe asked if we had balls for the basketball hoop on our outdoor ballroom. Hearing that we did, he ran towards the hoop with Inwe doing her best to follow, although the pink flip flops were impeding her progress. The next twenty minutes the two of them shot baskets and sometime allowed Larien to play as well.
At some point in time (Phill’s details are sketchy) Lenwe and Inwe began to play Prince and Princess with each other. I was at another neighbor’s house, so I can’t elaborate on what happened, but Phill’s comment later was, “They were sitting awfully close to each other for too long in my opinion.”
I really thought the next statement was going to be, “Time to bring out the shotgun.”
