Me Worry?

I have two independent girls. Finwe my turn out to be the same, but he's not old enough yet. Friday mornings are when they exert their independence a little more. They usually decide to play upstairs without me. They actually tell me to leave them alone. Today was no different, except I really wanted to be around Larien to remind her about going to the potty.

Both girls told me that they could handle going to the potty. I gave Inwe explicit instructions on how to help Larien if she asked, and I also told told Larien that Inwe could help her.

As I was feeding Finwe, I heard the two girls stomp to the upstairs bathroom. This is what I heard:

"Just like that."

"I'm getting up there."

"That's good."

"You don't have to hold me."

"Yea! You're doing it. I knew you could do it. Great job! Okay, wipe."

"Pull with two hands. And now I flush."

"Let's get you some panties."

"Okay. I want pegasus."


What did I have to worry about? Obviously, nothing. Just a few minutes later both girls came down, Larien now in panties instead of the overnight pull-ups.
