Sharing

Today was a Valentine's party at Inwe's school. She got in our van with a mailbox* of cards and treats.

Larien asked, "Oh, Inwe, what did you get?" Her eyes were wide with anticipation.

"Candy and cards and a tatoo," replied Inwe. "I'll share with you." And, she did. Inwe found a purple lollipop, Larien's favorite, unwrapped it, and handed it to her.

From the back of the van I heard, "Oh, thank you, Inwe. Thank you. I love purple lollipops."

My heart melted. I beamed with pride at my sweet daughters.

*In this case the mailbox is a tissue box wrapped with red paper painted by Inwe.
