All Day! Boom Baby!

Larien made it all day in panties. I'm doing a happy dance. This means just one in diapers, for the next two and half years. Hey, here's looking on the bright side.

The funniest part about all of this is that when I congratulate her on being a big girl Larien shakes her head saying, "I'm not a big girl. I'm just a little girl." I'm beginning to read more into this statement. Does she equate Inwe being a big girl and having to do more things herself (not that we make her; Inwe is so independent) and being a little girl and having more things done for her?

I guess it could mean a lot of things. She mights be afraid of having to part from you, like Inwe does for school, or do more for herself like with potty training. It might also be the "middle child" thing -- Larien was the baby, but now Fin is, and she's trying to make sure she's still mommy's "baby" even though she's growing up. It's hard to say without more to back it up. I know you've mentioned her making this comment before, though.
