Where's Inwe?

Nap time is no longer called by that appellation. The new terminology is "quiet time". I made this change in my wording because saying "NapTime!" to the girls always got the response of, "I don't want to nap." This was the response I got no matter their state of exhaustion or energy. Not wanting a battle over this every day of the week (for I prefer to choose my battles wisely), I changed the name of the time. Now when I say, "Quiet Time," I hear a chorus of "Okay, Mommy."

Most days both girls nap. Some days Inwe naps while Larien plays blocks, Barbies, and Care Bears in her room. There are only a very few days when Larien naps and Inwe does not, preferring to come downstairs to play in the sunroom. If I hear one or the other girl playing in their rooms after an hour or so, I check on them to see if they want more time in their rooms or time with me downstairs. You'd be surprised how many times they tell me to go away.

Today, I heard Larien singing and talking while playing. I told her we could go downstairs. She decided that would be good. "I need a snack, " was her reason. As Larien headed for the stairs I opened Inwe's door. This is what I found: White Dragon stretched out on the bed with no Inwe in sight.I did some more looking and found Inwe on the other side of her bed. She had decided to nap on the floor.

I just wish mine would still nap! The only good thing about not napping is that they are usually asleep before 8:00pm. The pictures are too cute!
