School

I took Inwe to her pre-school this morning. I also took her yesterday. Why is this blogworthy? Both mornings she has politely asked me not to accompany her into the classroom. She just wants me to open the gate, which has a parent only latch, and then leave.

*sigh*

My little girl is growing up, becoming more and more independent. Now if I could just get her to be nicer to Larien. I'll take suggestions as to what measures to take or not to take regarding a four year old being imperious and mean to her younger sister.

I thought my heart would break when I took my oldest son to kindergarten last year. For the first several weeks I walked him into the school. Then, one morning he wanted me to drop him off at the door. When he got out of the van and turned around to wave at me my chest physically hurt...I fought the urge to cry all the way home! The only thing I can say is cherish them now - they grow up entirely too fast. I wonder why no one warns us of this before we have children....

I'm pretty close to "old", being nice to sisters still doesn't come naturally.
Your not always nice to your sister.
I do think that your girls are smart, genetically bossy, inspired to be independent; the more I think about it, knock down drag outs with blood and flying hair are probably on the way.
