Inwe the Photographer

We had a dinner party this evening with our neighbors and their children. It was wild and raucus, and not because of the parents. Cirdan was doing something really cute so I had the camera. Inwe politely asked to use it. These are some of the results. She took one of me, but I refuse to post it. Why? No shower, no makeup, hair pulled back in messy ponytail, the telling signs of a whole day trying to potty train one kid, breastfeed the baby, and assuage the confidence of the eldest.

The first of the photos is Panda, oh beloved toy and bedtime companion.


Next is of White Dragon being a good girl. She's waiting in the kitchen for food to fall on the floor in the dining room instead of being under foot.

We follow that picture with one of Daddy. And, I have to add that this is one of the best recent pictures of him. The eyes are tired, but he's smiling and he doesn't always smile in photos.


Lastly is Loquatia and Idril. Idril said she wanted to go home right before this picture, but the party ended up lasting until 8:30pm. That's late for Idril and Cirdan. Our girls were ready to party some more, but we intervened.
