We have discovered a problem with the lack of a midday nap for Larien. If you take her on a car ride, say to a store just a few minutes down the road, she falls asleep at the worst time of day, 5pm. This happened to Phill yesterday. I transferred Larien to her bed in her coat (the shiny pink Cinderella coat) where she proceeded to sleep until 7:30pm.
Due to this odd nap time Inwe was in bed at 9pm and Larien was up entertaining her tired parents until 10:30pm. She was up on the counter playing with refrigerator magnets while we talked to her. She kept calling the magnets coins, so we persisted in getting her to call them magnets. After a few rounds of this we heard, "Do you guys want to count my maggots?"

Daisy does the same thing. She rarely takes a nap if we stay home but if I put her in the van after 4:00pm she falls asleep and then one of us is up half the night with her.
