It's really my potty!

While trying to get everyone ready this morning Larien told me that she had to potty. I said, "Okay, let's go."

With a knitting of her brow she said, "I need my little potty."

"Alright, your daddy is downstairs. Just go to him and let him help you." Larien took off down the stairs.

As I was changing Finwe's clothes I hear grunting, two year old grunting. This is what I saw when I looked out of my room--Larien lugging the entire potty chair up the stairs.

She wouldn't let us help her. She didn't want us near her. She was going to take it up the stairs all by herself.

Did she go potty once it was safely in her bathroom? Yes. She better have after all that effort! Posted by Picasa

My side hurts from laughing about the two year old grunting! My Daisy is trying to be so independent - one of her favorite things to say is, "I can do it, I can do it, I CAN DO IT!"
