"Mommy!" yelled Inwe from the back seat of the van.
"Yes, Inwe?"
"What time is it?"
"It's 5:5o. Why?"
"Oh, no. We have to get home now! My hungries need me!" This was said in a desperate tone. "We have to feed them in 10 minutes."
"Inwe, I fed the dogs before we left."
"No, not them. My hungries."
"Okay, we'll be home in just five minutes. They'll be okay." I had no idea what she was talking about, but I was sure she would make it clear when we got home.
When we walked in the door, we noticed a few things weren't where they were supposed to be. One of those things was a bag of white potatoes. They were all over the living room rug, in chairs, and on the coffee table. Potatoes--just one of the few victims of the White Dragon.
While Phill and I were picking up the potatoes, Inwe went to the cabinet to get out bowls. Did she get the kid plastic bowls? No. She got my Ivy Lane earthenware bowls.
"Umm, Inwe, why are you getting those bowls out?" I asked, knowing the answer already.
"My hungries need something for their food. These bowls are perfect."
"No, you can use the plastic bowls and get just two of them. They hungries can share."
"Oh, they never share."
"Well, they will today. Put those bowls back now."
"Okay." She hopped down from the stool with two bowls. She walked over to where Phill was picking up the rest of the potatoes. She put the potatoes in the bowls and headed up the stairs. A few mintues later she came back downstairs. I wasn't sure what she was doing as I was getting our dinner ready, and Phill had no idea either as he was playing with Larien and Finwe.
Later that evening, we found out what she had been doing. She had a potato in every type of container you can imagine. Each one was in front of one of her toys on her bed.

Well, at least she listen to you! She only got two bowls.
We are ready to give up the Ivy Lane. WaWa purchased me some plain white dishes which I like well enough. So drive down and pick them up :) We'll be around!
