Somewhere in my house there is a wet diaper. I haven't found it yet. Why is there a wet diaper not in a trashcan in my house? Larien took it off her hiney and won't tell me where it is. She probably doesn't remember.
She didn't want another diaper put on, so I told her that she needed to go pee pee on the potty. (Oh, the language we parents use!) She did. She received mini M&M's for this feat.
As an aside, Inwe brought Larien one of her toys. She then turned to me and said, "I shared a toy with Larien. May I have some M&Ms?
A bit later, Larien asked if she could watch a Thomas the Tank Engine movie. We don't have a Thomas movie. I explained this to her and suggested that if she no longer had to wear diapers that she could pick out a Thomas movie for us to buy. Her reply? "Great!" (Add a jump as well.)
She is now in Care Bear panties, loaned from Inwe's collection of 34. Let's see how long this lasts. Inwe was trained in a day. Could this be Larien's day?
***Update****
It's nearly 1pm. Larien is still dry, in the same underwear, and has gone pee numerous times. She will only use the upstairs potty, though. This makes my life interesting. She's eating lunch out of a plastic bag so she can carry it around. She also has the plate of mini M&M's in front of her at all times. It is as if she cannot believe she can have them for going potty.
Inwe is being supportive. She doesn't quite like it that Larien gets a treat and she doesn't. She also wants a new movie when Larien gets one. I told her she has to go more than one day without yelling at her sister. She hasn't yelled yet.
***2PM****
She started to fall asleep and lost control. Now blanket and clothes have to be washed. We'll try more after nap.

Good luck!
Wow! that sounds so easy. Hope it goes well. :)
We are having a similar day - my Daisy is only wearing a shirt and sweater and a pair of panties. She keeps running to the potty and we've had lots of success. Wouldn't it be great if two little girls were out of diapers/pull-ups today??
I love the "I shared a toy - now give me sweets" quote. She is quite the clever one and I look forward to her out smarting her aging parents in the year's to come ;)
