While we were dealing with Finwe's current sleeping problems, the girls were giving us fits of their own.First, when I went up to go to sleep I found Inwe stretched out on my side of our bed. So, I had to carry her back to her room. After that I had to turn off Larien's light, which she had turned on after we put her to bed. I also had to cover her up.
Around, 2am Larien started coughing, so off to her room to put Vapo-Rub (truly a gift to moms everywhere) on her chest. I heard Inwe sniffle around that time.
At 3am I was awake dealing with Finwe when I heard an intermittent beeping. I'm not sure why, but our hard wired smoke alarm was the culprit. I hit reset, checked all of downstairs for smoke or fire. Then I headed back to bed.
At 5am when I came back up to bed after getting Finwe back to sleep, White Dragon joined us on the bed. Just as I was falling asleep I heard Larien's door open and close. We never heard her footsteps, so she must have stayed in her room. Phill says he heard block sounds. She went back to sleep until 8:20am.
At 6am, we awoke to a PLONK! White Dragon had fallen off the bed.
At 6:30am, Inwe joined us. By that time I was ready to get out of the bed.
Who needs sleep? What's that for?

It could have been worse, Larien could have also joined you in bed!
Or you could have heard a mouse in the attic and let your imagination run wild!
Hey, just get an XXL bed and the whole family pile in. At least you want have to chase everyone down and/or wonder what they are doing in the middle of the night. JM
Oh I'm so sorry sleep has been scarce. Well at least it wasn't one of the kids falling off the bed, though that isn't always bad. My sister fell off a top bunk before and slept through it.
