Yesterday afternoon, my mom and dad arrived for the sole purpose of being here for Inwe's fourth birthday (well, for the weekend before her birthday). It was very heartwarming to watch my two girls run with arms outstretched towards their grandparents in the airport. Larien flung herself into Mom Mom's arms. Inwe went straight to Pop Pop.
As we walked out of the airport, Inwe pulled one of the suitcases while Larien rode in Mom Mom's arms. Inwe directed the loading of the luggage and the seating in the van. When we all were belted in, the constant talking and rapt attention to the grandparents started and did not end until bedtime at 9PM.
