Larien no longer wants to take a nap. She's just two. She shouldn't be old enough to go all day without a nap. However, I have to admit that although she needs to go to bed early on the days she doesn't take a nap she is not sleepy or terribly fussy in the middle of the day. And, she has no problem being put in her room for quiet time. She plays quietly for about an hour, then opens her door to rejoin me.
I'm not super excited about Larien nixing the nap as many days Inwe really needs the nap and does not complain about taking one. Inwe does great without a nap as well, so many days lately we have lots of fun together, but we do make a huge mess.
Phill and I were discussing this lack of nap situation. He suggested that if Larien doesn't resume naps that maybe we should leave her in preschool until Inwe will be done with school at 3:30pm next year. This way some other teacher will have to deal with the "I don't want to nap!"
