Blogworthy?

What is Blogworthy?

This has been plaguing me the past few days with regards to Inwe and Larien. I really don’t know what has happened the past few days that I would consider blogworthy. However, with regards to your ideas of blogworthy I will post a few tidbits from the past few days with the girls.

  • I have recently observed that most of Inwe’s boy friends (the separation of the words is important) have blonde hair. She hangs out with Tobias, Conner, and Steven at school. They have blonde hair. She does not hang out with the boys with black or brown hair. This could be due to all of the play time she had with Cirdan and Findarato as a very little one. Both of those boys have blonde hair. Perhaps she views blonde headed boys as trustworthy. I have not discussed this with her, so I can’t give you her perspective.

  • Larien, oh, my Larien. She’s a trip. She’s strong-willed, much more so than Inwe at this age. Yet, she’s so very loving and really wants hugs and kisses more than Inwe still wants. She is capable of giving in to our demands; it just takes mega doses of patience. The task of getting her out of her nightgown in the morning was beginning to feel futile. I understand the misery of Sisyphus. Yet, lately she is more enthusiastic about getting dressed and frequently requests certain outfits. Now we have to work on the bedtime routine becoming smoother with her.  Patience is not my strong point, but Larien is forcing me to have some.

  • For two weeks in a row we have had a “snow day” with our neighbors. These days are fun because the three girls (Inwe, Larien, and Idril) play together quite nicely. Idril is not as boisterous as my children, and I sometimes worry that she’s going to get verbally stomped on by them, but somehow they work it all out. The most fun part of these days (for the mom’s at least) is when the girls play upstairs unsupervised and the two baby boys are asleep. Loquatia and I actually get to talk about adult subjects.

Well, I hope you found some of these blogworthy.
