Either my girls have no idea what cold water is, or they just don't care. The Gulf of Mexico is cold! This doesn't deter my daughters from splashing at the edge of it for an hour.
Today I got to go with PopPop, Inwe, and Larien to the beach. Inwe held PopPop's hand while she splashed in the water, and Larien got me. She wanted to run in, then run out. Inwe played this game as well. We also sang "Ring around the Rosie"; I didn't like the 'fall down' part at all. However, when the girls are having so much fun I do what is required, even if means getting my bum wet with cold water.
Larien also decided that playing in the sand was fun. We dug holes, filled buckets, and dumped buckets of sand. Inwe wanted to play in the water, so she contined to do that with PopPop.
Now, if I could only get the girls to eat some more food.
