Trying to go on

I will try to keep posting here about the girls. This week will be a bust no matter what as I am with my mother in Florida and they are with Phill in Virginia.

It will be difficult to keep posting as I really wrote all of this for my father. He read them to his office and to my mother. I know others read this. I'm not saying that you don't matter. I've lost my muse, if you will.

One instant classic from this week.

Inwe: Molly, I have something very important to tell you.

Molly: What is that, Inwe?

Inwe: Larien is trying to kill me.

Completely understandable. I've always thought your blogs were a tremendous gift to your children as well as to the rest of us. As they grow older they will love reading about the early days of their lives. Even these horribly painful moments will matter to them.

When you are ready, a new muse may inspire you to continue. Your writing is so wonderful, but we who are total strangers would not ask you to do anything that is too painful for you.

I bet she delivered that line with a stone cold expression too. Classic!

If you choose to keep writing, I will certainly choose to keep reading. I loved watching your family grow in Charlottesville and love that I get to keep doing via your website now. You and Phill are a muse for me -- an insight into what our future might look like. And even with tough time like now, it's a beautiful future to look forward to.
