Last night, I should have known something would happen. When I leaned down to give Larien a goodnight kiss and hug, she didn't let go. "Please, Mommy, sleep with me."
I tried to. She tossed and turned and talked to herself for thirty minutes. Finwe began making noises. I told her that I had to go.
At 2:38 a.m. I heard her door open. She didn't go to the bathroom. Instead I heard her footsteps gettiing closer to our room. Unlike Inwe who announces her presence, Larien immediately and silently began climbing into our bed. I had to keep her from stomping on Finwe. She settled in next to Phill.
She slept for a while until she woke Phill up asking to go potty. He took her. They went back to sleep. I was awake because Finwe was having a rough, non-sleeping night. Larien was awake at 5:38 a.m. I saw her watching White Dragon who had gotten onto the bed. I couldn't sleep because my mind was worrying whether Inwe would join us, making 5 humans and one dog in the bed.
How many nights do you think Larien will now be firmly snuggled against Phill?

And the little one said, "I'm crowded. Roll over." So they all rolled over and one fell out... :)

Build yourself an extension on the side.
