Gardening with little ones is always hit or miss depending on where they put their feet, how close they planted the seeds, and if they will keep their hands off the unripe fruit or vegetables. However difficult it is with them, the gardening has been quite successful this year. Today Inwe and Larien noticed that our corn and beans have sprouted. The rows look amazingly straight.
We also picked three more crookneck squash. Any one have good squash recipes? I do well with squash and onions and ratatouie, but after that I hit a dead end. Phill wants me to batter the slices and fry them. I suppose I could do that. If I don't we'll be quite tired of sqaush and onions by the time the summer is done.
