I think I have shared before that I am training The White Dragon in agility. This has proven to be fun for me and for The White Dragon. Not only has it given me more friends, but I have also had the chance to give Ursa puppy play time. She really is a smart dog, and more importantly, eager to please. Training her to jump, walk planks, go through tunnels, and weave hasn't been that difficult. Getting me to use the correct hands and words is probably more of a challenge.
My point is this. She's now becoming too agile. Here's proof. I made pancakes for the girls this morning; Inwe helped. She even knows to get the milk and eggs out of the refrigerator. I put their syrupy plates in the sink to clean up after we returned from the gym and the store. Let me stress, the plates were in the bottom of the sink. When we came home, the plates were on the floor and clean. Ursa is nowhere near as large as Kodi, so I am wondering how that little bugger got her head in the sink. I have images of her leaping onto the counter and then getting the plates.
Another new feat of The White Dragon is to catch a cicada and hold it in her mouth while it buzzes. She's very proud of herself when she does it. The other day she had two in her mouth. I haven't figured out if she lets them go or if she eventually eats them. It's very cool to hear your dog's mouth buzzing.
