As I was getting ready this morning, Inwe and Larien amused themselves. Inwe found a crown, put it on her head, and grabbed her fiber optic wand flashlight (bought at Busch Gardens). I could hear her in her room saying something resembling "turn into a mermaid." A few seconds later, she ran into my bathroom saying, "Mommy, Mommy, I turned Larien into a mermaid! I really did."
"How did you do that, Inwe?"
"I"m not Inwe, I'm a fairy. I have magic powers. I can look at you and change you into something or I can use my wand, or my hands have powers too. "
"Oh."
"What would you like to be turned into?"
"Can I be an ogre?"
She waves her wand at me and says, "Turn this woman into an ogre." Add a zapping sound effect here. I growled at her, and she said, "No, you aren't a mean ogre. You're like Shrek."
"Shrek scared people. I think he liked it."
"But you're like Fiona. She didn't scare people."
"Okay."
"I'm going to turn The White Dragon into something now. Bye."
At some point she turned Larien from a mermaid into a monster and sent her large plush dog, named Kode, to bite her. It sounded to me like Larien was playing her part. There was certainly a lot of growling going on in Inwe's room.
