This plan was hatched yesterday evening nearly as soon as she woke up from nap. Let me see if I can remember the key sentences.
"Mommy, I have to get dressed so I'm not late for the wedding."
"Can you help me get Cat in the Hat dressed?" The outfit was a Monticello t-shirt and cut off jean shorts for the Cat in the Hat. Hers was her Princess and the Pauper gown.
"Mommy, can I go on the front porch to get flowers? I'll stay on the porch, I promise." So, she and Larien went out on the front porch to pull flowers off the mums arranged with pumpkins and gourds on the steps. Inwe carried hers in a bouquet. Larien wanted hers in her hair.
When it came time to eat dinner Inwe's response to our calls was, "No, I have to get married. I don't have time to eat." We informed her of the existence of receptions just to get her to the table.
At some time during the evening we heard from the sunroom, "No Larien, if you want to dance you have to marry Elmo or Sponge Bob." We then had to explain that wedding guests get to dance at the reception as well.
